The integrated poultry farm "Roskar" is going to send ready-to-eat omelets to a retail trade in 2008
It became known today during pres-tour to the poultry farm organized by the St.-Petersburg regional center of ITAR-TASS.
Each omelet is made of two eggs. You can take the novelty with you when travelling. And it’s not a surprise that the first people who will taste these products will become passengers of "Aeroflot". "Roskar" and AEROKMAR company delivering meals for "Aeroflot", have agreed about delivery of omelettes to planes. For the present omelets are packed into special foil packages, but the new packages design is being developed now.
As Director on development of sales of an integrated poultry farm "Roskar" Egor Yakovlev said later at a press conference, a long process of certification was taking place then. "It already has taken us half a year to legalize papers, but they are almost ready", he said. Investments are 300 thousand euros.
In the nearest future the other product will be introduced to the market: fresh cooled cutlets. This year the poultry farm is going to make 10 thousand tons of poultry meat. In 2008 it is planned to produce about 17 thousand tons. The investment into reconstruction and construction during the last five years were 1.43 billion roubles, including own financial means and profit - 746.7 million roubles.
Products of company "Roskar" are ordered by the embassies of the USA and Japan, by the fast food restaurant "Teaspoon", by the company-manufacturer of salads "Vlad salad" and others. The poultry farm is the principal supplier of a fast food restaurant "McDonalds".
